We all thought the DJI would release the new generation of Inspire 2 on September 11th, 2015, but didn’t expect there were only Inspire 1 Pro and Inspire 1 RAW.
On the basis of Inspire 1, the loaded camera of Inspire 1 Pro/RAW is upgraded from X3 to X5/X5R. Don’t look down upon this camera, actually it is big- titled, which makes Inspire 1 Pro/RAW become the first consume- type drone who carries M4/3 system. At present, among all ready-to-fly drones, it owns the best shooting effect. Compared with the X3, M4/3 is much greater just from the aspect of the size of CMOS.
Speaking of this, you may ask what is M4/3( micro four thirds system). Actually, it is a digital video system which was firstly put forward jointly by Olympus and Kodak, famous for the CMOS in proportion of 4:3. Then what advantages does it have? Simply speaking, the size of CMOS is just right, and camera structure is simple, which is smaller than SLR Camera but the image quality is almost the same. Then how is it compared with the commonly used micro SLR on aerial photography field like SONY NEX series? Well, i can guarantee you that the image quality of M4/3 definitely surpasses micro SLR, especially the video shooting, which is closed to even surpass SLR cameras.
From this picture, we can see clearly the dimensional proportion of CMOS. In general, the larger the CMOS is, the better image quality it will have.
Note: This is unpacking the Inspire 1 Pro loading X5, the Inspire 1 RAW loading X5R will go to the market until the end of this year. X5R adds a 1.8inch 512G SSD on the basis of X5 aiming to provide largest freedom for the making of professional videos.
As usual, Inspire 1 Pro also comes with a transportation case, light as well as solid.
